Was disappointing that it was NOT the actual Myth of Gilgamesh, but a "study" about the myth. Interesting in it's self, but if you want to read the actual myth, this isn't it!
love the book, I purchased the audible version the narration personally I think was not very well done... He tried to add in personal sounds and things that took away from the story...
There seems to me to be no better way to experience this epic poem. Mr. Lockwood is an excellent story-teller. Even if you own a printed edition, read it out loud and decide for yourself.
This was a little weird. Not the story I thought I ordered but read by a guy with real drama. Kinda strange. And I like off beat stuff.
